Discover the precision of Glass Microspheres for Sandblasting and surface cleaning, available from 5kg packs to 1-tonne pallets. Ideal for cleaning delicate items, these glass beads ensure surfaces remain unaltered in size, shape, and texture, providing a minimally rough and refined finish. They're perfect for use in sandblasting with both dry and wet compressed air systems, offering versatility in application and superior surface finishing.
Glass microspheres are favored for their ability to provide a shinier surface compared to other abrasives, especially on aluminum and general metals. The choice of grit size is crucial for achieving the desired surface roughness, with smaller grits offering a shinier finish but potentially reducing the beads' lifespan and abrasive power.

Discover the exceptional qualities of Glass Microspheres for Sand Blasting and Stripping, offering high-quality finishing and a tough, viscous consistency of over 6.0 Mohs. This abrasive is free from free silica and lead, crafted from sodium-tempered solidified glass, predominantly in spherical form and occasionally in angular form.
Compared to other abrasives, glass microspheres provide a shinier surface and are generally more pleasing to the eye. With smaller grit sizes, the surface is shinier, applicable to both aluminum and metals in general. The choice of grit size also depends on the desired surface roughness. There's often a reluctance to choose smaller grits as they may reduce the lifespan and abrasive power of the beads. Typically, SV100-200 is the preferred choice for aluminum.
Glass beads are ideal for cleaning and finishing various items, including holds, dies, gearwheels, mechanical parts, and for oxide removal, deburring, and cosmetic finishing on materials like stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum, titanium, plastics, ceramics, glass, and textiles. Their usage aims to enhance the final appearance of metal surfaces and clean sensitive surfaces without chemical interaction, ensuring no contamination on the blasted material. Their effective action allows for multiple uses, typically between 6-10 times.
