Water Analysis

Water Analysis

The beginning of the warm weather also means that it is time to start checking the quality of the pool water for typical residential, public and outdoor pools.

The main chemical levels to be checked are pH, chlorine, total alkalinity and acid demand. There are also other types of levels to check.

In order to get accurate results, there are several types of swimming pool test kits on the market that are quite easy to use by following the user manuals.

Standard kits for the chemical level test are available in different types, versions and with various functions.

They are classified according to the available test functions. These tests measure pH, chlorine, acid demand, alkalinity, bromine, hardness and cyanuric acid in the pool, etc.

There are types of analog and manual test kits such as strips and droplets/liquid test kits.

There are also digital test kits that are more accurate than analog types, but you still need to run the test manually.

With the advanced technology we have today, there are automatic versions such as BLUE CONNECT which performs tests without any human intervention. You can also view the test results from a location away from the pool.

The elements of the pool water change at different speeds, fortunately with automatic testers, there is no need to manually check the levels because it is automatically done by it and it sends you alerts when your attention is needed.

It is important to regularly test the chemical levels of the pool to keep the water safe for swimmers.

Stay within the ideal range below and you will be sure to have a perfectly clean, safe and balanced swimming pool.
