Connect the pool vacuum cleaner to one end of the pipe and attach it to the handle.
Immerse the vacuum cleaner and place the float tube in the water to fill it and prevent air from entering it.
Connect the float tube to the suction inlet of the pool, open the suction valve limiting the flow of water through the collecting basin and the valves of the skimmer to increase the speed of water circulation through the suction pipes and then increase the suction power of the pool vacuum cleaner.
When carrying out this operation, care must be taken to avoid the formation of air pockets in the system; in this case, slowly open the collecting basin and the skimmer valves.
Whenever the pool vacuum cleaner is used, it is advisable to wash the filter afterwards and also clean the prefilter on the pump.
IMPORTANT:
The head of the vacuum cleaner has been designed to operate at a flow of between 4 and 5 feet per second.
Use at a higher speed may cause the vacuum head to adhere to the bottom of the pool.
To avoid too much suction, adjust the flow either by adjusting the trimmer valve plates or by removing one of the baffles (rubber deflectors).
